Apple’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are not yet available in South Africa but that doesn’t mean that locals aren’t practically lining up to get Cupertino’s latest and greatest handset.

So, What’s So Great About the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus?

Both the 7 and 7 Plus feature the same design as previous devices (the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as well as the 6S and 6S Plus). They both, however, also now feature an IP67 rating making them splash, water and dust resistant.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus both have a 12-megapixel camera which includes optical image stabilisation, a larger ƒ/1.8 aperture and 6-element lens enable brighter. According to Apple, this means that you’ll get more detailed photos and videos. iPhone 7 Plus also adds a second, 12-megapixel telephoto camera that, together with the standard lens, offers optical zoom at two times and up to 10 times digital zoom for photos.

While no release date has been confirmed by Core for the local release, an article from MyBroadband claims to have the expected prices for the handsets when they finally do reach our shores.
