Ultra South Africa – The Magic Returns In 2017

Compare Guru
2016-08-01
Get ready for the return of Africa’s largest electronic dance music festival. Ultra South Africa returns in 2017!
Ultra South Africa is one of the most anticipated electronic dance events of the year and with good reason. Previous line-ups have seen some of the biggest names in international dance music -- Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, and Galantis -- jet into the country to put on the show of a lifetime. “The foreign DJs, as always, had a great time and really love our South African audiences. The response and love for the SA crowds is always great with the internationals and we can be very proud of our energy,” states Shaun Duwe, partner in Ultra South Africa. Looking for ways to get the most out of your salary? Let the Guru help you with our budget planner. south-africa-gallery-2016-22 2016 was the biggest year so far for the local edition of the world's largest electronic dance festival with more than 22 000 attendees per day at the Johannesburg leg and 14 000 per day in Cape Town. 2017 sees the festival return to South Africa with both Cape Town and Johannesburg playing host to the spectacle on February 24 and 25 respectively. Cape Town also sees a venue change, with Cape Town Stadium in Greenpoint as the new location for the festival while the Johannesburg event will remain at its lifelong home, the Nasrec Expo Centre. Early bird registration opened to an overwhelming response on 20th July, and early bird tickets go on sale (for those that registered) on Tuesday 2nd August on a first come, first served basis.
